Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium Strategy
The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is additional funding given to schools to support specific groups of pupils who may be at risk of underachievement. It aims to close the gap in attainment between them and their peers.
The PPG is allocated for pupils who are eligible for Free School Meals or who have been eligible in the last six years. It is also allocated for children who have been Looked After by the Local Authority.

In 2021/22 the grant is:
£1345 per pupil for FSM or Ever 6 children
£2345 per pupil for children who have been Looked After by the Local Authority for at least one day (PP plus)
The PPG is also allocated for children whose parents currently serve in the armed forces or have in the last four years.
In 2021/22 the grant is £310 per pupil.
At Plaistow Hill Infant & Nursery School we ensure that our teaching and learning meets the needs of all pupils and that appropriate provision is made to children who belong to vulnerable groups.
For the financial year 2021/22 we will be spending our PPG as per the above tiered model approach
