Times Table Rock Stars

To help all of our children to master their times tables we have purchased access to Times Table Rock Stars. Each child has a unique login where they can create their own rock star and play times table games to earn coins. These coins can be used to purchased upgrades for their rock stars.  The times tables they need to practise are set by their teacher. The children are able to play solo games to practise their tables or they can face off against others in multiplayer games.

By the end of year 2 children are expected to know facts for the 2, 5 and 10 times tables and by the end of year 4 they are expected to know all of their tables up to 12x12.  They will also now be expected to take a times tables test at the end of year 4.  Please help your child to learn their times tables as they are really valuable to them in their maths, especially as they move into year 3. Remember, little and often is the best way to practise so a few minutes every day will really help them.

To visit the Times Table Website click here or on the picture above and don't forget you can play on smart devices as well by downloading the Times Table Rock Stars app.  Good luck, Rock Stars!
